Display Percentage Sign in Tableau Graph You want to add a percentage sign into a graph but when you change the number format to percentage, it turns into a wrong data, for example from xx.xx to xxxx.xxxx% Percentage is a fraction less than 1.  If your data is xx.00, then changing that to percentage will be xx00% (it works this way in Excel as well). In order to overcome the simple hack will be to go to formatting for each of the measure form the graph and under Scale add % to Prefix/Suffix

Custom Groups and Consolidations Consolidations : Consolidations are used within templates to specify the data users wish to view in their report. Consolidations allow users to group attribute elements in new ways without changing the metadata and warehouse definitions. Consolidations enable users to create customized groupings that allow row calculations between elements of a given attribute.   Custom groups ; A custom group is a special filter that can be placed on a template and is comprised of an ordered collection of elements called custom group elements. Each custom group element can be labeled with a header and includes a logical expression of attribute, metric, object, advanced or custom group banding qualifications. These qualifications resolve into a list of attribute elements once the report is run. Events and event-triggered schedules in Microstrategy Subscriptions and tasks that are based on event-triggered schedules execute when a MicroStrategy event is triggered. These triggers do not need to be defined in advance. A system external to Intelligence Server is responsible for determining whether the conditions for triggering an event are met. Once Intelligence Server has been notified that the event has taken place, Intelligence Server performs the tasks associated with the corresponding schedule. In a clustered environment, administrative tasks associated with event-triggered schedules are executed only by the node on which the event is triggered. Prompt-in-prompt (nested prompt) feature in a FreeForm SQL Report in MicroStrategy  The following procedure describes how to achieve prompt-in-prompt in a Freeform SQL report in MicroStrategy Tutorial project: Create a new filter, select Add an Attribute qualification and choose the highest level attribute Country. Configure a report for use with Bulk Export in MicroStrategy The Bulk Export feature enables a large report to be saved as a delimited text file. Using this feature, it is possible to retrieve result sets from a large dataset without having to load the entire dataset into memory. PS:  Once a report is setup for bulk export it cannot be used as a regular report. So if the report needs to be run as a normal report and as a bulk export report, the first step is to make a copy of the report for use with bulk export. Prompt-in-prompt(Nested Prompts) in  Microstrategy Nested prompts allows you to create one prompt based on the other and other bases on another, nested prompts allows us to prompt the highest level(Like year) to middle level(like Quarter, then to the low level(like Month). Here you can see how to  create a 3-level deep nested prompt that will prompt the user to select a year, then a quarter within that year, then a month within that quarter. HyperIntelligence and its Architecture When you open a web page the extension automatically scans web pages in your browser and underlines keywords that you can hover over to trigger cards. Cards present predefined KPIs associated with a selected keyword sourced securely from MicroStrategy. This feature is similar to what we see in web pages particularly stock related web sites.  MicroStrategy introduced HyperCards, a new object that is built, managed, and deployed using MicroStrategy Workstation(Not by using Developer or Desktop as far as I know).
