Display Percentage Sign in Tableau Graph
You want to add a percentage sign into a graph but when you change the number format to percentage, it turns into a wrong data, for example from xx.xx to xxxx.xxxx%
Percentage is a fraction less than 1. If your data is xx.00, then changing that to percentage will be xx00% (it works this way in Excel as well).
In order to overcome the simple hack will be to go to formatting for each of the measure form the graph and under Scale add % to Prefix/Suffix
I think there is a need to provide some necessary information about Tableau since many non-techie people are still unaware of it.
