Email bursting is in MicroStrategy

Email bursting is in MicroStrategy  Email bursting feature allows users to send out personalized slices of a single report execution to a dynamic list of recipients. Prior to MicroStrategy 10, Distribution Services was able to burst page-by slices to file; this capability has been extended to email as well. Follow the steps below to  to burst to email: Build the following report with attributes and metrics Note that the Manager attribute appears in the page-by. Email bursting , like file requires at least one attribute in the page-by .         Also, at least one of the page-by attributes should have an email attribute form .   Right-click on the Manager attribute in the page-by and add the Email attribute form. Save the report as “Email Bursting” Open the report’s subscriptions in MicroStrategy Web: Scroll down to the Email subscription and click the option to “Add email subscription”: Choose the schedule by clicking the drop-down and selecting the required schedule.

Tag Users in Microstrategy Dossier

Tag Users in Microstrategy Dossier You can tag multiple users or user groups in a comment. You want to tag the team leader responsible for creating the dossier. Navigate to the first page of the Office Royale Sales dossier. On the  Overview  page, click the  Comments    icon. In  Comments , enter  @ . A list of suggested users appears as you type. The owner and/or certifier of the dossier appears at the top of the list with  Owner    and  Certifier    icons. Select a user from the list. If you want to include the filtered state of your dossier, enter  @  in  Comments  and click  filter . Enter your message. Click  Post .

Certify dossiers in MicroStrategy

Certify Dossiers in MicroStrategy Web Dossiers can be certified for an environment by users with certain permissions. Certified items have typically been reviewed by trusted members of your organization and are considered official sources of content, based on reliable data. Two of the Security Role which have the ability to certify dossiers: Application Administrator  - Users granted this role have access to all application specific tasks. Certifier  - Users granted this role can certify objects in addition to the authoring capabilities. Follow the steps  below   with a user who has   Certifier privileges  which has been added newly Users without certifier/application administrator privileges will not see the option to certify. In MicroStrategy Web, right-click on a dossier and select Properties.   Check the Certified option and click Ok.   Navigate to MicroStrategy Library and users will see the orange certified flag displayed for the dossier.
